CRCO Change Steps Challenge Swiss team
Our goal is to collect funds for our Charity partner, bring CRCO Change employees closer, and promote Charity activities within our department.
This is a great opportunity to collaborate with colleagues or challenge yourself as an individual by recording how many steps you take in total over the period from April 21 to April 25, 2021. We encourage you to form a team with colleagues from different office locations within CRCO Change.
Engaging in physical activity provides many mental and physical benefits and can bring out the best in us, both at work and in our personal lives.
"Future Skills matters"
Last year, the CompiSternli association was chosen as "Charity of the Year". Since a majority of the fundraising events that normally benefit the "Charity of the Year" could not take place, we will continue to work with CompiSternli as the "Charity of the Year" in 2021.
They also had to put on hold their successful generation project called "iPad project", which is in a nutshell: Schoolchildren teached older generation to take their first steps in the digital world. In the meantime the association has developed a new "future skills" projects for schoolchildren, teacher and senior citizens. They will discuss the past and future of the school's priorities, like what can we learn from history? Which values were important in the past and which values will be needed in the future? Which skills need to be acquired in order to survive in the digital age of the 21st century? What opportunities do the children see with regard to new technologies?
The schoolchildren will learn how to cope with new technologies and learn how to interview senior citizens and how to present in front of an audience/ a camera.
Schoolchildren, students.
This "Future skills" project is based on the promotion of the "4Ks" (communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking). These are competencies that are of great importance for schoolchildren and students in the 21st century!
Students need to be prepared for the next steps in their life. Therfore future skills matters!
Walk as much as possible between 21 - 25 April 2021. Every day, no matter how bad the weather is, go for a walk.
Please join this initiative to promote physical health and support the Charity of the Year CompiSternli. Make a step to maintain your physical health and donate money for the charity.
Every step and every donation counts. We will all benefit from it.
